POLICE have cordoned off two streets in the Old Quarter of Stourbridge after what's believed to be an unexploded bomb was found.
Residents in Clark Street and Cleveland Street have been told to stay indoors and away from windows after officers discovered the device in a roof at a property in Clark Street.
Inspector Dez Lambert told the News: "Someone was doing some roofing work and they've found what might be an unexploded device in Clark Street.
"It's hard to say what it is but it may be an old world war two bomb.
"We haven't confirmed for sure whether it's a genuine device but for everyone's safety - we're asking residents to stay indoors."
Insp Lambert said the bomb squad would be on the scene within the hour.
