AMERICAN beers will complement 40 British brews as the pints are pulled during a 16-day festival at three pubs in Halesowen and Sandwell.

The US craft beers and real ales will be on offer at The William Shenstone, Queensway, Halesowen, The Moon Under Water, High Street, Cradley Heath and The Britannia, Halesowen Street, Rowley Regis from next Wednesday (October 16) The festival will feature new, seasonal and speciality brews, including pumpkin, peppercorn and organic beers and a coffee stout.

Many will be available in the pubs for the first time, having been brewed exclusively for the festival.

The Moon Under Water manager, Gabrielle Livesey, said: "The craft beers from the USA have never before been available in cask form in the UK, which makes them even more special.

"The festival will be the perfect way for real ale enthusiasts to enjoy a range of excellent beers.

"It will also give them the opportunity to support microbrewers throughout the UK, as the pubs are featuring many of their beers."
