AN 18-year-old Halesowen man who allegedly took part in a series of graffiti attacks in Halesowen and Stourbridge, while on police bail for an early similar offence, was today charged with causing criminal damage.
Lewis Douglas, of Greenhill Road, will appear before Dudley magistrates on Friday October 25.
He was again given police bail on condition he does not have in his possession in a public place any article that could be used to cause graffiti.
Douglas was arrested last Friday afternoon along with convicted graffiti vandal Creagan Piesley, after a coach and street furniture were daubed with slogans in Stourbridge's Worcester Street and walls of New Road subway, leading to Market Street, were covered in 'tags'.
Piesley, aged 20, of Hedgefield Grove, Colley Gate, was charged with causing criminal damage, breaching a CRASBO and flouting bail conditions that banned him from carrying spray cans or markers in a public place.
He denied causing criminal damage when he appeared before Dudley magistrates on Monday and was remanded in custody ahead of his next court appearance on Monday October 14.
