CHILDREN are being invited to action packed half term programmes at Halesowen and Haden Hill leisure centres.
The Pool Road centre is offering a discounted price of seven days for £7 to under 16s this half term.
The school holiday offer will include fun pool sessions, table tennis, squash and public swimming. Councillor Stuart Turner, cabinet member for health and wellbeing, said: “Parents can keep their children active and save money with the seven for £7 offer this half term.
“There’s so much to do this half term at our centres from pool sessions to fitness classes and sports groups.” The main pool will be filled with a large inflatable mission impossible style aqua run from 1.30 to 3pm on Monday, October 28 and Friday, November 1.
The session is suitable for children aged eight and over and restrictions on height and swimming ability will apply.
Play mat sessions for under 16s will take place in the pools on Tuesday and Thursday October 29 and 31 from 1.30pm until 3pm.
Both pool sessions cost £2.30 for children and £3.70 for adults but will be free to juniors taking out the seven for £7 offer. For more information call Halesowen Leisure Centre on 01384 812800.
Sandwell Leisure Trust is running a holiday camp during half term for children aged eight to 16 at Cradley Heath's Haden Hill Leisure Centre.
The camp features s a range of activities including sports, arts and crafts, coached sessions and games, such tennis, swimming lessons, snorkelling, racquet sports, and multi-sports.
The trust’s sports development and physical activity manager, Rebecca Clayton, said: “Our half term holiday camp programme has something to keep everyone entertained during the break.
“Don’t let the autumn weather keep you stuck at home. Join our fun-filled activities and stay active at your nearest SLT leisure centre.”
