AN up and coming Halesowen band has landed an opening slot alongside American pop-punk band Orange in a gig at Birmingham’s O2 Academy on Friday.
Halesowen music makers Matt Price and Alex Holloway, both aged 20, along with 21-year-old Josh Winfield, from Kidderminster, and Michael Jones, aged 26, from Rugeley, make up Viva La Revolution.
The band has been playing together all over the country for more than three years and is “excited” at joining the US band on its second UK tour at the Birmingham gig, which is all but sold out.
