A DRUG adidict threatened a pregnant woman after she spotted him throwing bricks through a shop window in Cradley Heath, a court heard.

The woman, who was almost three months pregnant, called the police after Scott Parsons lobbed the first brick through the window of a furniture store.

He returned on two more ocassions to throw bricks threw the window of the High Street shop and threatened the woman: “If I get arrested there will be payback. Watch me," Wolverhampton Crown Court was told.

Parsons, aged 25, of Compton Road, Cradley Heath, admitted criminal damage and witness intimidation and was sentenced to seven months in prison.

But he was released immediately because he had already spent five months in custody while being held on remand since his arrest.

Jas Mann, defending, said it was never his intention to carry out the threat.
