CHRISTMAS crazy children in Halesowen will be able to see Santa Claus every Saturday until the big day.

Volunteers from the Rotary Club of Halesowen and Rowley Regis will join Santa at ASDA, Cornbow Centre, from 10am until 4pm.

Children will be able to have a free picture taken with Santa and will also get some free sweets courtesy of ASDA.

The Rotary Club will be raising cash for local children's charities including Birmingham Children's Hospital, Sunfield children's home, Barnados Halesowen, Halas Homes and Acorns.

Rotarian Alan Bowler said: "We have had a special mini Santa's sleigh built that can fit in ASDA so we are looking forward to being there every Saturday on the run up to Christmas.

"Children can come and meet Santa, have a photo taken and get some free chocolates and we are raising money for some great local children's charities."

The Rotary Club will also be out and about on the streets of Halesowen and Rowley Regis with its traditional Santa's sleigh.

Mr Bowler said: "It is a Christmas tradition and as well as touring the streets we will be visiting B&Q and Tesco."
