A BURST water main in Oldbury is set to keep a road closed for two weeks for repairs.
The burst main, at the junction of Bromford Road and Brandon Way, was repaired overnight on Friday, but the northbound carriageway between Fountain Lane and Brandon Way will remain closed until Friday, January 10th.
A spokesman for South Staffordshire Water said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused while these repairs are being carried out. We are working as quickly as we can to get the road open again.”
Bus stops in Bromford Road have been suspended during the work and passengers are advised to use alternative stops.
A diversion for motorists is signposted via West Bromwich Street, Oldbury Road and Albion Road.
