A BIG garden bird watch will take place in Dudley on Saturday January 25.

The free event, which forms part of Dudley Council’s green spaces for health programme, will give people the chance to spot which birds inhabit Priory Park.

Anyone who wishes to take part should arrive at the park’s pavilion building at 2pm.

Binoculars will be provided.

The park will also be the venue for a nest box building workshop on Wednesday February 19.

From 1.30pm to 3pm, visitors can build and decorate a box to take home and hang in their garden.

Kits are free but limited, places must be booked by calling 01384 812474.
