BLACKHEATH-based Black Country Housing Group has earned a place on the Sunday Times 100 best not-for-profit organisations to work for.
The group, which employs 200 people, provides affordable housing, housing related services and personalised care and support services throughout the Black Country and Birmingham.
It has been given a one-star rating in the ranking, which recognises the enterprise and commitment of public-sector organisations, charities and housing associations.
Chief executive Amanda Tomlinson said: “Being recognised by this highly prestigious and national award scheme is a significant achievement and demonstrates our approach to nurturing employee skills as well as creating a dynamic and fulfilling working environment.
“As a large local employer we remain committed to creating local employment opportunities by delivering a wide range of services which provide long term social and economic value to communities across the Black Country and Birmingham.”
The listing, which will be published in the Sunday Times on March 16, is cause for a double celebration for the housing group which is also celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.
