A drug "wholesaler" caught with over £45,000 worth of cocaine in Halesowen has been ordered by a judge to pay just £640 from his ill gotten gains.
Judge John Wait said Harjit Bunjay - nabbed by police officers in Nimmings Lane - had benefited to the tune of £45,640 from his drug dealing.
But he said his realisable assets were just £640 so he ordered the 44-year-old to pay the amount in full or face a further 28 days in prison.
Bunjay of Broadwaters Road, Darlaston had denied possessing the cocaine with intent to supply at Wolverhampton Crown Court.
But he was convicted by a jury after they retired to consider the evidence at the end of his trial and jailed for seven years by the judge on March 12th.
The court was told the cocaine seized from Bunjay who had to face a Proceeds of Crime Hearing was of a "high purity."
The judge said it clear Bunjay was a "drug wholesaler and not a street dealer."
