Cradley guitar club hoping to strike a chord with new members

First published in News

A MUSIC-loving Cradley councillor is hoping to drum up more members for his new acoustic club.

Councillor Richard Body is running the club at the Cradley Labour Club’s Wilson Hall on Wednesdays for beginner and intermediate players of guitar and ukulele.

More advanced players who are willing to give advice to others are also wanted at the free of charge club.

He said: “Play along to backing tracks, music from the 1950s to today. There’s no need to learn music, you can play along with chord boxes.” The weekly sessions are from 7.30pm until 9.20pm with open mic from 9.30pm until 10.15pm.

Anyone interested is invited along or for more details email Cllr Body at cllr.richard.body@dudley.gov.uk
