HALESOWEN History Society is holding its first meeting of the year on Thursday, February 6.
The speaker will be Keith Clenton who will be giving his talk Lost Industries and Businesses of Birmingham at the Shenstone Theatre, Halesowen Library at 7.30pm.
Secretary Carol Taylor said: "Everyone is welcome there is a small charge of £1 for non-members.
"We are also running our Schools Local history Competition again this year and we would like to wish good luck to all the schools taking part and we can't wait to see the entries.
