FORMER Halesowen College student Liam Jeavons is making his debut in a new BBC daytime drama called WPC 56 which hit the small screen on Monday afternoon.
He plays new recruit PC Tommy Perkins in the series which is set in Birmingham in the 1950s and is about the first women police constable to serve in her home town.
The 22-year-old, who also attended Leasowes High School, has just completed a leading role in a European tour of the play Around the World in 80 days.
He studied performing arts at the college before completing an acting degree at the Academy of Live and Recording Artists in London.
