A HALESOWEN Triathlon club is offering a cut price deal for adults to get fit through running.
The Cobra club is offering free two week taster sessions led by experienced club runners starting on Wednesday, February 19.
The first session will be followed by a further either weeks aimed at getting people running five or six miles or more by week 10.
Beginners coordinator Andy Smith said: “Our motto is ‘Running for Fitness, Running for Fun, nobody gets left behind, and newcomers love the welcome from what is perhaps the friendliest club around.”
The beginners part of the course costs £10 which will be deducted from the Cobra membership fee (normally £30) if people decide to stay on for the year.
Some choose to move to Cobra’s longer sessions on Tuesday and Thursday nights, even entering races with the club.
Completing the Beginners’ ten weeks will also be rewarded with a free entry into the Cobra Classic 10K race, which this year will be on Sunday, May 18.
Mr Smith said: "Beginners should along ready to run at Halesowen Leisure Centre at 6.50pm for a 7pm start."
