DEVASTATING high winds have blown a roof off a Halesowen house as stormy weather batters the town.
Miraculously no-one was injured when the roof of the house in Melbourne Road was ripped from the building and blown across the street at 5pm.
Resident Dorothy Knowles said: “We were having in the sitting room and then saw a roof blowing across the street.
“The entire roof has been ripped from the building and it was a miracle no-one was hurt.”
