ARMED robbers held up a Halesowen off-licence and stole the shop's till - which was worth more than the money inside it.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after two men with a gun brazenly parked near Booze Corner, Howley Grange Road, and held the shop up at 2.20pm yesterday (Tuesday).
They threatened a woman assistant and stole an amount of cash before escaping in a distinctive turquoise coloured Land Rover.
They are described as two white men, one aged in his forties and wearing large glasses and a woolly hat and the other in his twenties and wearing a black top with a ‘GioGio’ logo on in bright green. He also wore dark jeans with a bright blue ‘Evisu’ logo on the pockets.
DC Lisa Shepherd from Force CID said: “Investigations are ongoing but we are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time of the robbery or anyone who saw the vehicle leave to contact us on 101."
