A HUGE charity bash has been organised in Halesowen this weekend.
The Hasbury Inn, Hagley Road, has been booked out on Saturday for a giant party to raise cash for children with cancer.
Ben Harris, aged 26, is organising the event.
He said: "We did held a Harlem Shake last year and Halesowen and it went well so we thought we would hire out the Hasbury Inn and do a big event which runs from 2pm until midnight.
"We are having a children's party in the front room and are holding lots of events of leg waxing and someone is getting into a bath of baked beans as well as a fancy dress competition.
"We are also getting some DJs from a night called Fidget Friday in Birmingham to provide the entertainment at night so we are hoping to get a big crowd in."
The organisers are hoping to raise over £1,000 for The Childrens Cancer and Leukeimia Group charity.
A spokesman for the CCLG said: "As a charity we are little known; most people only become aware of us when sadly they have a child, relative or friend who has been diagnosed with childhood cancer or leukaemia.
"We are therefore extremely grateful for all support received, not only to help continue to fund the work that we do but to also to raise awareness of childhood cancer."
