MEDICAL science students at Halesowen College took part in three workshops to develop their communication and practical skills.

Tom Warrender from Class Room Medics led the sessions where the students created square bubbles, a smoke vortex, instant ice and canister rockets.

They will pass on the skills they learned to other students when they re-create some of the tasks.

Biology lecturer Nichola Warner said: “This was a fantastic experience for the students and something they all really enjoyed.

“Bringing experts into college gives them a different perspective on the subject and access to different ways of working which will help them in their future careers.”
