POLICE investigating a bottle attack at a Halesowen club which left a mother and daughter with severe head injuries this morning charged a man with two counts of wounding.
Ashley Barton, aged 26, a car salesman of Barneswood Close, Halesowen, was arrested last night in connection with the attack at Benjamin’s nightclub in the early hours of Saturday November 16 last year.
He was charged with two counts of wounding and will appear before Dudley Magistrates Court today.
The arrest was a result of a recent appeal for information by officers investigating the attack, which led to a number of witnesses coming forward.
