TWO Simon and Garfunkel fans from the Black Country will be bringing their tribute show to their favourite musical duo to the region this weekend.
Halesowen based Dan Haynes and Pete Richards, who grew up in Stourbridge, first set out to create their self-managed and self-promoted multi-media show ‘Simon and Garfunkel – Through the Years’ back in 2011.
And now the pair, who call themselves Bookends after the iconic Simon and Garfunkel album, are busy touring the country with the show - which is set to stop off at the Dovehouse Theatre in Solihull on Saturday March 8.
The production, which has been hailed a "must-see" show and an “unforgettable theatre experience”, features narration written by London author Victoria Kingston who penned ‘Simon and Garfunkel – The Definitive Biography’ plus documentary-style videos including footage of American duo Simon and Garfunkel themselves - giving their personal accounts of their rise to fame.
Tickets, priced £12, are available from the box office on 0121 706 7139.
