VALUABLE war medals have been stolen from a car in Oldbury.
The medals were taken from the car which was parked in Junction Street overnight on Monday, March 3.
Thieves stole two boxes of ornaments, a crystal rose vase and ten war medals which belong to the driver’s grandfather who served in the Royal Engineers in World War Two.
Sergeant Darren Jones, from Oldbury Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “Two sets of medals in presentation boxes were stolen while the victim was in the process of moving. The medals are of great sentimental value she is desperate to have them returned. There is a reward being offered for their safe return."
If anyone has information on the theft or the medals phone the police on 101.
