EASTER eggs are being collected by a Halesowen funeral directors to put a smile on the faces of children who will be stuck in hospital over the festive period.

Staff at Halesowen and District Funeral Directors, of Hagley Road, are asking businesses, community groups and residents to donate chocolate eggs for youngsters at Russell’s Hall Hospital’s children’s ward.

Funeral director Gary Minott, said: “We hope the local community will support us and help to make Easter an easier time for children who cannot be at home.”

Anyone wishing to donate an egg should call the funeral directors on 0121 647 3889 to arrange collection or drop one into the Hagley Road office during normal working hours.
