THE Full Monty is coming to Halesowen with six local lads set to bare almost all to raise money to help build a school in Africa.

The charity show at the Hill and Cakemore Social Club will feature singers, comedians, games and a disco alongside the main event – a take-off of the popular film about hard up Sheffield steelworkers who turn to striptease to make ends meet.

Matt McSwiggan, Shaun Betts, John Tedstone, Carl Dreams, Andrew Dean and Carl Slayer, who make up the Untouchables, are busy perfecting their routine ready for the Ladies Night on Friday March 28.

They hope to raise around £5,000 for the charity Abundance Ministries International which is trying to build a school for poor children in Kenya.

Mr McSwiggan said the group of friends had been practicing for the last few months in one of their living rooms and, with the routine nearly there, there were just a “few creases to iron out”.

The curtain will rise at 7pm at the club in Nimmings Road and tickets, priced £10, are available by calling 07503002695.
