Churches Together holding Good Friday Walk of Witness

THE annual Good Friday Walk of Witness is being held in Old Hill.

Churches Together in Cradley Heath, Dudley Wood and Old Hill want residents to join the walk on Friday, April 18.

The event will begin at 9.30am with prayers at Holy Trinity Parish Church, Old Hill.

Jen Kerrison, from Churches Together, said: "We will then walk into Old Hill, then into Trinity Street, Claremont Street and go into Roxhurgh House.

"Then we shall walk down to St Luke's Church, on to The Market Place in Cradley Heath and end by the statue outside Tesco."

There will be services afterwards will be at Four Ways Baptist Church or at The Salvation Army .

Mrs Kerrison added: "A service is also being held at St James' Church, Highgate Street, Old Hill at 7.30pm and will consist of songs and meditations based around Adrian Snell's The Passion."
