Halesowen chocolate shop raising cash for charity
Updated 12:29pm Monday 7th April 2014 in News
KIND-HEARTED staff at Thornton's chocolate shop in Halesowen are working hard to raise cash for charity Two Little Feet.
The Cornbow Centre shop has donated a 40cm Harry Hop-a-lot Rabbit as the raffle prize and are selling tickets until Good Friday.
The giant chocolate rabbit will be presented to the lucky winner by Two Little Feet’s founders, Lottie and Bibby Chadwick, on Easter Saturday. Corrine Bullock, from Thornton’s, said: “We are all so inspired by what Bibby and Lottie have achieved so far.
"We really wanted to do something to help the girls with their wonderful work."
Two Little Feet was founded last year by sisters Bibby and Lottie Chadwick, after Comic Relief inspired them to help African children and families affected by Malaria.
Through their hard work and the support of their friend and families the girls have already raised well over £1,000 and are already providing long lasting insecticidal nets to communities in Tanzania and Mozambique.
Emma Chadwick, from Two Little Feet, said: "We are so grateful to Thornton's in Halesowen because every penny they raise can be used to send mosquito nets to Africa which will benefit children over there."
