DUDLEY Council is putting on a host of events throughout the Easter holidays for youngsters.

Activities are on offer at Dudley Council’s museum sites, leisure centres, parks and nature reserves.

Halesowen Leisure Centre is running a £7 for 7 days deal from Monday 14 April to Friday 25 April, where children aged eight and over can receive unlimited access to swimming, aqua run, play mat pool, squash and table tennis from 9am to 5pm during weekdays. The centre is also hosting aqua run and playmat pool sessions.

There are free family trails at Broadfield House Glass Museum, the Red House Glass Cone and Dudley Museum and Art Gallery. There are drop-in crafts at Broadfield House Glass Museum on Sunday 13 April from 1.30 – 3.30pm, at Dudley Museum and Art Gallery on Tuesday 15 April from 10.30am – 3pm and the Red House Glass Cone on Thursday 17 April from 10.30am – 3pm, all of which cost £2.25 per session.

Knights will be polishing their armour and getting ready to entertain families at the Red House Glass Cone’s Medieval Easter Bash on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 April from 10am – 4pm. Other activities across the museums include glass painting and holiday schools.

There are Easter egg hunts on 16 April at the Leasowes from 10am – 12noon (01384 814642 to book), at Priory Park on Thursday 17 April from 10.30am – 12pm (01384 812474 to book) and Cotwall End Valley on Sunday 20 April from 2pm – 4pm (07849 804242 to book). Other activities include easter bunny crafts, making nests, creating herb pots and fun with fish.

Dudley Leisure Centre is running its Activezone classes on Tuesday 15 and 22 April and Thursday 17 and 24 April with full days of fun including dance mats, Nintendo Wiis, T-shirt design, multi skill activities, craft sessions, swimming and team games to get involved in such as football, rounders, basketball and badminton. Sessions must be booked on 01384 812800. They are also hosting aqua run sessions and sea world bouncy castle sessions.

The Crystal Leisure Centre is running trampolining sessions, intensive swimming courses, under 5s gym and play, arts and crafts activities as well as extending its soft play opening hours.
