ENGLISH and Creative Writing students from Halesowen College visited The Birmingham Repertory Theatre in a bid to get their creative juices flowing.
45 students went to see an adaptation of Sebastian Faulks’ bestselling novel of battles, betrayals and birdsongs called Birdsong.
They also took part in scriptwriting workshops with Liam McCormick, one of the actors from Original Theatre Company, who also worked closely with Sebastian Faulks in the adaptation process.
He said “The workshops were really lively, interesting and fun. It was a pleasure to work with such enthusiastic groups of young people.”
