THE 300th anniversary of the birth William Shenstone, the poet who designed the Leasowes, is being marked with a tea on the terrace event in June.
The event on Sunday, June 22 is being held at Halesowen Golf Club House, Leasowes Lane, off Manor Lane.
Marianne Diller, chairman of the Friends of the Leasowes, is helping organise the event.
She said: "We want people to come along and join us on the terrace of the Club House for tea, sandwiches and cakes while enjoying the views Shenstone would have seen while travelling around his estate all those years ago."
Tickets cost £6 per and places are limited so booking is essential, for more information phone Denise Smith on 0121 422 9565 or Marianne Diller on 0121 422 7585.
