A FORMER Halesowen schoolboy turned rock musician is tuning up for a gig back at Windsor High as part of its 75th anniversary celebrations.
James Sayer and Band – with special guest Jools Halland’s saxophonist Lisa Grahame – is in concert in the main hall next Tuesday, June 17, at 7pm.
He left the school 10 years ago and has since moved to London to work in the music industry.
James is currently working alongside American producer to the stars Alan Glass on a debut album due for release later this year Following the performance, he will jet off to New York to perform and record for a week.
Tickets, which are on general sale priced £5, are available from the school’s music department on 0121 550 1452.
The school is also holding an open morning on Saturday June 28 as part of the anniversary celebrations.
