SPORTS clubs in Sandwell have three weeks to bid for grants to increase the number of people taking part in sport.
Clubs can apply for up to £500 before the end of June to support schemes to get people active.
The scheme is supported by The Albion Foundation and West Bromwich Albion Football Club.
It was launched in March by Albion players and Councillor Paul Moore, the council's cabinet member for health.
He said: "There are lots of sports clubs across Sandwell being run by hard-working volunteers and I am regularly being told that getting funding is difficult.
"This small sum of money is relatively easy to apply for but time is running out. I urge sports clubs from across the borough to apply and tell us how they they can use this money to get more people active."
Rob Lake, Albion Foundation director, said: "Sandwell's clubs have been waiting a long time for an opportunity like this and I know it will be well received."
