COMMUNITY-minded Halesowen residents took to the streets to collect 11 bags of litter from around Shell Corner.
Halesowen North councillor Hilary Bills said the amount of rubbish found in the Love Your Community litter pick, supported by Dudley Council, was less than normal.
She said many householders came out to thank the team, some with offers of food and drinks.
Shell Corner Partnership chairman Rev Mike Sermon added: “We’d like to thank all those residents and businesses around Shell Corner who keep the pavements outside their properties litter free.”
The partnership’s annual meeting is on Thursday July 10 at at Olive Hill Primary School, at 6.30pm The next litter pick will be in Maple Road on Sunday September, 28 at 2.30 pm.
