THE Stepping Out support group, which helps adults with learning disabilities in Halesowen, is holding an open day to mark its second birthday.

The group, which meets at The Zion Christian Centre on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, will be celebrating on Wednesday, July 23.

Founder of the group Christine McCauley said: "We are a micro provider day provision for adults with learning disabilities and we are looking forward to our anniversary. There will be stalls such as tombola, raffle, craft, perfume, bric-a-brac, nail art and spray tanning.

"We have a great group and meet from 10am until 4pm, and we like to go out a lot and use public transport as we are mostly about social skills and independent living."
