THE Brickhouse estate in Rowley Regis is set to be a haven of family fun later this month.

A car boot sale, funfair and talent show are just some of the attractions at the Brickhouse Festival on Saturday July 19.

The event, at Moor Lane near Rowley Regis Hospital will run from noon until 6pm and is expected to draw hundreds of visitors.

Rowley Town lead member Councillor Barbara Price urged people to attend the free festival.

She said: "The organisers are working very hard to make the event as successful as it was last year and it promises to be even bigger and better.

"I encourage everyone in Rowley to come along and enjoy a day out for all the the family."

She added: "There's also lots of children's entertainment, games and sports organised by Sandwell Leisure Trust, a climbing wall, stalls and the Youth Bus will be there."

There are still spaces left in the line up of the talent show which is on stage from 2-3pm, all ages are welcome.
