THE introduction of a loyalty card to reward shoppers using Halesowen stores is being considered in a bid to boost flagging trade.
The town’s recently-appointed chamber of trade chairman, Wayne Edwards, is hoping for support to pursue the plan.
He said: “I am investigating the feasibility of launching a loyalty card to encourage shoppers and businesses to spend more amongst ourselves – if the major supermarkets can do it, why can’t we?”
He has arranged a meeting with a company called Beep on Thursday July 24 at Thursfields Solicitors, Hagley Road, at 10am and is urging other traders to go along.
Anyone wishing to attend should call him on 07903 315053 or sales@less4officesupplies.co.uk
