A COMMUNITY fun day in Colley Gate went ahead despite last Saturday’s thunderstorms.
Providence Methodist Church hosted the event with displays on the theme of memories and entertainment from the Rise and Shine group and the No Strings Attached puppeteers.
Councillor Tim Crumpton braved the elements, cooking up a storm on the barbecue, while cream teas served in the church hall.
