The following appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court between July 28 and August 1:

Michela Hilton, aged 48, of High Street, Lye, was discharged conditionally for six months for stealing groceries, worth £47.50, from Iceland and obstructing a police officer in the execution of duty, in Halesowen, on April 1. She must pay a victim surcharge of £15 and £100 court costs.

Rebecca Jones, aged 33, of Wolverhampton Street, Dudley, was sent to prison for 36 weeks for stealing food, worth £113, from Asda, Merry Hill, on June 30, while subject to a suspended sentence.

Paul Preece, aged 50, of Marine Crescent, Wordsley, was given a two month community order for drink driving in Stourbridge on July 13. When tested he had 109mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was given a two month curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am and was disqualified from driving for 24 months. He must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.

Wayne Mark Williams, aged 34, of Carlton Avenue, Wollescote, was given a 12 month community order for stealing shirts, worth £96, from Sports Direct, Merry Hill, on June 10, while subject to a conditional discharge. He was given a two month curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am. He must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.

David James Hartlebury, aged 27, of Wrens Nest Road, Wrens Nest, was fined £110 for destroying a television, worth £1,000, in Dudley on May 4. He must pay compensation of £200, a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

David Benjamin Scarlett, aged 33, of New Street, Dudley, was sent to prison for 14 weeks for possessing three metal blades and items for use in course of theft, namely a wall scraper, metal bar and a balaclava, in Dudley on April 6.

Aaron Jason Scartlett, aged 25, of Corporation Road, Kates Hill, was sent to prison for three months, suspended for 12 months, for taking a car without the owner’s consent in Dudley and driving without a licence or insurance and possessing a metal knuckle duster in Stourbridge on June 20. He was disqualified from driving for 18 months and must carry out 120 hours unpaid work. He was also given a three month curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 8pm and 7am.He must pay a victim surcharge of £80 and £85 court costs.

Paul Kevin Burton, aged 35, of Wolverhampton Street, Dudley, was fined £100 for causing £200 worth of damage to a car windscreen in Dudley on July 14. He must pay compensation of £100, a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

Rosemary Hill, aged 22, of Chapel Close, Cradley Heath, was discharged conditionally for six months, for assaulting a police officer in Warley on July 11. She must pay compensation of £100, a victim surcharge of £15 and £85 court costs.

Callum Kane Steventon, aged 18, of The Broadway, Dudley, must pay compensation of £100 for causing £200 worth of damage to two bus shelters in Dudley on July 2.

Michael Ian Chapman, aged 39, of Penzer Street, Kingswinford, was sent to prison for 16 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for drink driving in Brierley Hill on April 30. When tested, he had 102mgs of alcohol in 100mls of blood. The legal limit is 80mgs. He was also sentenced for driving while disqualified, without insurance and failing to stop after an accident. He was disqualified from driving for 40 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £80 an £85 court costs.

Vorn Glen Parke, aged 29, of Goodrich Mews, Lower Gornal, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for assaulting a woman in Gornal on July 13. He must pay a victim surcharge of £15 and £85 court costs.

Ryan Louis Edwin Burrows, aged 22, of Wellington Road, Dudley, was sent to prison for four months, suspended for 12 months, for causing £300 worth of damage to vehicles in Dudley on May 15 and assaulting a woman in Brierley Hill on July 6, while subject to a conditional discharge. He must pay compensation of £165, a victim surcharge of £80 and £85 court costs.

Shane Anthony Cox, aged 24, of Grove Road, Wollescote, was given a 12 month community order for possessing a folding pocket knife in Stourbridge on April 6. He must carry out 100 hours unpaid work, pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £150 court costs.

Philip Allan Burbidge, aged 22, of Yorkdale Close, Dudley, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing £550 in Coseley, between June 21 and 27. He must pay compensation of £550, a victim surcharge of £15 and £65 court costs.

Dale Martin Mansell, aged 33, of Priory Road, Dudley, was sent to prison for 25 weeks for stealing four cans of Lynx shower gel, worth £4, from Poundland, Dudley, causing £50 worth of damage to a police vehicle and failing to provide a non-intimate sample to ascertain whether he had a class A drug in his system on June 13. He was also sentenced for stealing Lynx deodorant, worth £68.70, from B&M, Dudley, on June 15 and stealing washing powder, worth £52.11, from Co-op, Sedgley, and assaulting a police officer in Brierley Hill on July 17, while subject to a community order.

David Ray Perrins, aged 26, of Lower Derry Street, Brierley Hill, was given a 12 month community order for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with the intent to cause a person harassment, alarm or distress, in Stourbridge on June 26. The offence was racially aggravated. He was given a two month curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 8pm and 6am. He must carry out 100 hours unpaid work, pay compensation of £100, a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.
