A DRUG taker was caught stealing DVDs from a supermarket while on bail for a similar offence and serving a suspended prison sentence.
When police searched the Rowley Regis home of Michelle Willetts they also discovered two cannabis plants and hydroponic equipment.
The 41-year-old, of Reservoir Road, admitted two charges of shoplifting, producing cannabis, possessing a kitchen knife that was found in her handbag and breaching a drug testing order.
But Judge Michael Dudley told Willetts he would not send her to prison because she had already spent time in jail after her arrest.
She was put on supervision for 12 months and given a four-month curfew while the 12 month suspended prison sentence remains in place.
Joanne Barker, prosecuting, said Willetts was with an accomplice when they stole £80 worth of CDs and DVDs from an Asda store in the area.
She tested positive for cocaine after her arrest and ordered to attend a drugs test but was again arrested when she failed to attend.
After being bailed, Willetts and her accomplice were caught for a second time stealing DVDs from a Sainsbury's store.
