BLACK Country rock band, EofE have been announced they will be supporting The Vamps on their upcoming UK tour.

Warming up for big bands is nothing new for the rockers, who bagged a support slot on the recent McBusted arena tour, where they played to more than 380,000 fans across 32 UK dates.

EofE, who formed last year and practise at Dudley Kingswinford Rugby Club in Wall Heath, comprises 18-year-old vocalist Tom Harris from Netherton, guitarist Dan Bremner from Swindon, aged19, bassist Luke Bradley, aged18, from Gornal and drummer Nicky Waters who is 25 from Newcastle.

Lead singer, Tom said the band "can't wait" to head back out on the road for the tour which begins on September 23 in Sheffield and ends on October 15 in London.

He said: "The Vamps are incredibly successful, really accomplished musicians, and the same age as us. I’m looking forward to having a lot of laughs on the road.

"The McBusted tour was a fantastic break for us – being able to play some of the UK’s biggest and most prestigious venues on our first tour was unreal.

"Their fans were really supportive and the band offered us some great advice."

Fresh from the tour announcement, next week they will be releasing their second single Piece of You.

Describing the song, lead guitarist, Dan, revealed: "Piece of You was a real moment in our set for us on the tour – fans would put their phones up in the air so the arenas were filled with lights. It was quite surreal getting that audience participation and really hit home how lucky we are.

"I wrote it about a girl who was my best friend and she could have been a lot more, however nothing ever happened as the right situation never occurred, things kept getting in our way - now we’ve lost touch. It’s really about missed opportunities and taking your moment, it’s one of our deepest songs and it means a lot to me."

The band will also embark on their own headline tour in November, with tickets available now via www.eofe.com.
