INDOOR rounders sessions are set to be a big hit at an Oldbury leisure centre.
Rounders will be held on Wednesdays from 6-7pm at Portway Lifestyle Centre, Newbury Lane and entry is £2 per person.
The sessions were sanctioned after the success of a community rounders session held at Lightwoods Park in Smethwick which were funded by Rounders England.
Mandy Williams, sports development officer for Sandwell Leisure Trust, said: "Rounders provides an all body workout. Whether you're batting or fielding, rounders will improve your agility, hand-eye co-ordination and muscle endurance.
"Everyone is welcome to take part in these new sessions - just turn up!"
She added: "Rounders England is the national governing body for the sport of rounders and they work with partners to provide a pathway and opportunities for aspiring players to progress to whatever level of play is right for them.
