A PRIVATE education company is offering free workshops in Oldbury next week.

On Monday Explore Learning is holding fun and interactive workshops for children aged five to 14.

The English and maths tuition provider will be holding maths, arithmetic, creative writing and English workshops from 10am until 6pm at Sainsbury’s, Freeth Street.

Explore Learning spokeswoman Claire McInerney said: "The team will also be offering children a free tailored session for one hour at any time throughout the day.

"Children will have the chance to sit down with an experienced tutor and see how exciting learning can be and discuss their individual needs to help them unlock their potential."

She added: "Children from all over Oldbury are welcome to come along but places are limited so to secure your slot please call Explore Learning on 0121 647 6369."

From 10am until 11am there will be a monster maths class for children aged five and six-years-old and between 11.30am and 12.30pm there is a Fantastic Mr Fox creative writing course for six and seven-years-olds.

Then between 1pm and 2pm the Perfect Percentages workshop for children aged 10 will help youngsters hone their mathematics skills.

The Roald Dahl inspired BFG creative writing class for children aged between seven and nine-years-old starts at 2.30pm

Then between 4pm and 5pm Dangerous Division workshop for children aged nine and above finishes off the day.
