MEMBERS of Dudley Building Society got chance to meet and share their views with the society’s chief executive at a new member forum.
The gathering, an informal affair over coffee and biscuits, gave members chance to quiz directly the CEO of the 156-year-old society.
Chief executive Jeremy Wood said: “It is more than an opportunity for us to tell our member base what we do, and likewise to simply answer questions, it is a chance for us to help build understanding about what building societies are about and how we differ from banks.
“I really enjoyed having such open and honest conversations with the member forum. “
The society, based at the Waterfront in Brierley Hill, plans to hold a number of forums throughout the year to boost community engagement and give members chance to receive on the spot responses from the top man Building society bosses are also keen to grow the number of members attending.
