Sandwell Council's archives, libraries and museums services have joined forces to celebrate local heroes from the First World War.
Over the next eight months, specially-commissioned pull-up banners featuring heroes from each town will be travelling around the borough's libraries and museums.
There will be a chance to find out more about heroes from each particular town, including those awarded the Victoria Cross.
The banners will be displayed in each library and special ancestry and reminiscence sessions will be held to accompany the boards.
It is one of a number of projects Sandwell is doing to mark the centenary of the First World War.
