THE following appeared before Dudley Magistrates Court between March 16 and 20:

Gavin Garratt, aged 27, of Wolverhampton Street, Dudley, was given a 12 month community order for stealing meat and cheese, worth £10.98, from Iceland, Dudley, on February 26. He was given a 28 day curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am. He must pay a victim surcharge of £60.

Josh Samuel Green, aged 22, of Long Lane, Halesowen, was fined £200 for being drunk and disorderly and resisting a police officer in the execution of his duty, in Netherton, on March 8. He must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

Kerry Elisabeth Butler, aged 40, of Witley Crescent, Oldbury, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for causing £4,000 worth of damage to a van in Netherton on February 12. She must pay compensation of £250 and £15 victim surcharge.

Brian John Palmer, aged 47, of Harvington Walk, Rowley Regis, was given a 12 month community order for possessing diamorphine in Halesowen on January 26 and stealing chicken, worth £39.96, from Co-op, Stourbridge, on November 16, 2014. He was also sentenced for failing to surrender to custody at Dudley Magistrates Court on February 18, having been released on bail. He must pay compensation of £29.96 and a victim surcharge of £60.

Jordan Thomas, aged 20, of Morvale Street, Lye, was given a 12 month community order for stealing items, worth £33.75, from Michaels Supermarket, Dudley on February 16 and failing to surrender to custody at Dudley Magistrates Court on February 27, having been released on bail. He must pay a victim surcharge of £60.

Phillip Christopher Grosvenor, aged 34, of Lyndsey Place, Brierley Hill, was sent to prison for 23 weeks for assaulting a man in Brierley Hill on November 13, 2014. He must pay a victim surcharge of £80.

Brian Cope, aged 62, of Mission Close, Cradley Heath, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for causing £200 worth of damage to a gas fire and pipes, TV cables and a satellite TV box in Quarry Bank on January 22. He must pay a victim surcharge of £15 and £85 court costs.

Rebecca Jones, aged 34, of Wolverhampton Street, Dudley, was sent to prison for eight weeks for stealing confectionary, worth £250, from Poundland, Stourbridge, on March 12 and two legs of lamb, worth £51.29, from Waitrose, Stourbridge, on March 18. She must pay a victim surcharge of £80.

Mark Royston Barry Tinsley, aged 33, of Wolverhampton Street, Dudley, was sent to prison for 14 weeks, for stealing confectionary, worth £268, from Poundland, Stourbridge, on March 12 and 18, while subject to a suspended sentence. He must pay a victim surcharge of £80.

Howard Marcus William Young, aged 48, of Bethesda Gardens, Halesowen, was fined £470 for driving without reasonable consideration for other people using the road, in Kingswinford, on October 17, 2014. He was given three penalty points and must pay a victim surcharge of £47 and £85 court costs.

Kieron Samual Noakes, aged 27, of Ploverdale Crescent, Kingswinford, was given a 12 month community order for possessing amphetamine in Kingswinford on October 26, 2014. He was also sentenced for assaulting a police officer in the execution of his duty and failing to provide a non intimate sample for the purpose of ascertaining whether he had a class A drug in his body. He must carry out 120 hours of unpaid work, pay compensation of £50, a victim surcharge of £60 and £135 court costs.

Sarah Michelle Jeavons, aged 38, of Osprey Drive, Russells Hall, was sent to prison for eight weeks, suspended for 12 months, for stealing items, worth £154.46, from shops in Merry Hill, on March 6. She must pay a victim surcharge of £80 and £85 court costs.

Andrew Stephen Carr, aged 20, of Stourbridge Road, Lye, was sent to a young offender institution for 28 weeks for entering a salon in Quarry Bank as a trespasser and stealing hair products on January 20 and failing to surrender to custody at Dudley Magistrates Court on March 11, having been released on bail. He was also sentenced for stealing clothing from BHS, Dudley, on March 14 and 18. He must pay a victim surcharge of £80.

Scott Thomas Boyd, aged 23, of The Terrace, Cradley Heath, was sent to prison for 12 weeks for assaulting a man in Dudley on January 15. He must pay compensation of £100 and a victim surcharge of £80.

Jamie Ford, aged 24, of Wallis Road, Oldbury, was sent to prison for 24 weeks for assaulting a man and woman in Dudley on January 15. He must pay compensation of £200 and a victim surcharge of £80.
