A MAN accused of stalking Halesowen singer Esther Turner has been further remanded in custody by a judge.

William Clarke, Bowater Avenue, Stechford, has pleaded guilty to stalking the singer between July and October last year

Mr Harbinder Lally defending the 54-year-old told Wolverhampton Crown Court a further psychiatric report was needed before the case could be finalised.

He said it was clear Clarke was suffering from “some kind of psychosis” and maintained he wanted professional help to resolve his problems.

“The issue of a hospital order should be explored,” Mr Lally told Judge Amjad Nawaz who remanded Clarke until May l for the preparation of the new report.

Miss Turner is a singer-songwriter from Halesowen who gained fame supporting The Jacksons at the NEC last year.
