People across Halesowen have been busy doing their bit to help raise money for the BBC's Comic Relief appeal.
Pupils at Halesowen CE Primary School joined in the fun by putting their headteacher Jim Preston into a bath filled with jelly.
Earlier in the day every child in the school and all members of staff held hands and made a ring around St John's Church to raise awareness for the send my friend to school campaign.' They made a total of £300 during the day.
Deputy headteacher Joy Howell said: "It was a very good day, everybody enjoyed themselves."
Meanwhile the owner of Popins cafe in Dudley Road donned a giant strawberry outfit for the day, and through various fundraising efforts, staff raised £106.
Nicki Hannaford said: "It was extremely hot in the outfit but everyone had a fabulous and humorous day."
At Leasowes Community College, students had buckets of fun as they took part in a charity car wash raising £300.
Pupils, youth workers and Oldbury firefighters dressed in red noses and T-shirts to wash teachers' cars.
The Mayor of Dudley, Halesowen councillor John Woodall, Mayoress Mrs Audrey Woodall, Halesowen and Rowley Regis MP Sylvia Heal, and councillors Lesley Faulkner, Karen Shakespeare and Jeff Hill also dropped in to have their cars washed.
