THE Halesowen Hound Dog is looking for people to star in a film tribute to Elvis Presley.

Mark Summers is shooting the film in the Black Country this weekend and needs extras to appear in recreations of the King's most famous films.

The 31-year-old said: "The project has been inspired by Priscilla Presley who I met earlier this year, I told her about my ideas for a film and she told me it was unique and different.

"We are looking for girls aged between 16 and 35 and guys between 18 and 30."

He added: "This will be a fun project recreating some of Elvis' famous music videos, mock concert and candid shots, we will have a full film crew and two photographers at all times, we will give extras copies of the shoot for personal use.

"Filming will take place this weekend around Halesowen and the Black country and transport will be provided to locations and sets, the footage may also be used for a SKY TV program later this year."

The Hasbury hip-swiveler was spotted by a cousin of Elvis ten years ago in Cyprus and is now regular on the money spinning US tour circuit.

Last year he visited the birthplace of The King in Tupelo, Mississippi, and his spiritual home Memphis where he had photo shoots in several of the homes and haunts Elvis used to frequent.

The father-of-two, who was named the UK's number one Elvis tribute act at the 2013 National Tribute Awards, is hoping the film will get an airing in Elvis' hometown of Memphis when it is completed.
