CRADLEY three year old Paige Taylor dished up a treat when she helped her aunt prepare tea.
The pair created a speedy biryani, which went down really well with judges of a national competition.
They liked the recipe so much, they presented Paige with a mouth watering £200 prize through the Children's Food Trust's BIG Cookathon.
Paige was chosen from thousands of promising young cooks who took part in the event which is designed to get families cooking and eating together.
Aunt Kate Batchelor was looking after Paige at the time while mum Helen Taylor was giving birth to her second child Lexi at Russells Hall Hospital.
Helen, who lives in Allbut Street, Cradley Heath, claimed: "Paige loves being in the kitchen and always wants to help. My sister let Paige cut up the herbs while she stood over her.
"I think she's planning to take Paige on a shopping spree with the prize money."
