The Kidderminster Shuttle reports that travellers who set up home in Stourport have been served with eviction notices.

The group were watched by passersby and dog walkers on Monday (April 20) morning setting up camp.

The Stourbridge News reports angry Labour campaigner Richard Body has hit out at Margot James, who hopes to retain her Stourbridge seat in the General Election, after she used his picture as part of her campaign.

Mr Body, a candidate in the local election, says he was left "speechless" when he saw his picture being used to support the Conservatives in Ms James's election leaflets delivered around the Cradley area.

The Dudley News reports a Kates Hill man has avoided jail after he was caught with cannabis outside Dudley Magistrates Court.

Faid Saleh started using the drug after he was stabbed in the chest and shoulder in a “ferocious” attack, which left him in a coma.

Wolverhampton Crown Court heard the 23-year-old is now registered disabled and used cannabis to self medicate.
