A quick glance around the Black Country and North Worcestershire suggests the roads are looking okay in general, apart from where there are ongoing road works and the usual evening rush hour spots.

Some incidents to look out for include: The M5 entry slip road is blocked and there is queuing traffic southbound at J2, A4123 (Oldbury), because of an accident.

There is heavy traffic on the A449 Chester Road North in Kidderminster between Land Oak traffic lights and Rose Theatre mini roundabout.

Traffic is also busy but moving around the York Street junction in Stourport.

Motorists are also being warned there is stop-start traffic on A461 Dudley Port in Dudley Port at the A457 Sedgley Road East traffic lights junction.

There is very slow traffic on A435 Alcester Road northbound in Portway between the B4101 Beoley Lane junction and Portway, in the roadworks area.

Slow traffic is also causing dealys on the A491 Hagley Road northbound in Pedmore, Stourbridge between the A4036 Ham Lane junction and the B4186 Glasshouse Hill junction.

Expect slow traffic on the B4186 Heath Lane in Stourbridge near the Love Lane junction, because of a traffic light failure.
